A Busy week, Doncaster Sales and Mecca’s Celebrations

The Doncaster Premier yearling sales week kicked off in great style with a superb win in the Group 1 Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes for Mecca’s Angel. She showcased her awesome speed over the American raider  Alcapulco and earned a well deserved Timeform time figure of 129. It was a justly deserved win for the patience shown by her connections,  David Metcalfe, Michael Dods and jockey Paul Mulrennan. Mecca’s Angel is out of the Atraf mare Folga and is the sister to Markaz. Folga has a yearling filly going to Tattersalls Book 1 and a filly foal too – all by Dark Angel.

The 2015 yearling sales opened with the Doncaster Premier Sale and it was a great week for the team at Doncaster with positive returns and for Yeomanstown and Dark Angel stock. We sold 9 yearlings:
