First Foal For G1 July Cup Winner Mill Stream
Yeomanstown Stud is delighted to announce that its exciting young stallion Mill Stream has sired his first foal in the early hours of Wednesday morning (pictured at 12 hours old). The foal is out of the Dark Angel mare Silver Rose, who is the dam of the Stakes winner Eternal Elixir (Shaman), and is from the family of Gr.2 Sandown Mile winner Sovereign Debt.
Gr.1 July Cup winner Mill Stream was well supported in his first season at stud with 170 quality mares and the arrival represents a very encouraging start for the high-class sprinter in his new career. Stud Manager David O’Callaghan said: “Delighted to have Mill Stream’s first foal on the ground. She’s a belter. Big strong bay filly, with good limbs.” Mill Stream will stand for €10,000 for the 2026 season, where he continues to attract interest from breeders seeking speed, toughness and top-level performance in their pedigrees.
