Supremacy’s Daughter and Middleham Park Racing’s Anthelia Lands Another Big Prize This Season

First season sire Supremacy has bet the house All On Red and the gamble is paying off in bucketloads as the Red Clubs mare has provided him with his first Group winner in Anthelia who won the rescheduled Group 3 Dick Poole Stakes at Salisbury on Friday afternoon.

The Middleham Park Racing-owned filly was also the first blacktype winner for the Middle Park Stakes winner from the first crop of Mehmas.

It is a double success for Yeomanstown Stud who stand Supremacy at the Kildare farm, bred Anthelia and sold her to trainer Rod Millman at last year’s Goffs Premier Yearling Sale.

Anthelia had been successful in the Listed National Stakes at Sandown back in June and then landed the lucrative Weatherbys’ Super Sprint.

The Dick Poole victory was the fifth of her career for Anthelia who has run seven times this season, having made her debut a winning one at Bath in April. She notched up a straight hat-trick of wins with her Sandown Listed success before meeting the first defeat of her career when fifth in the Listed Empress Fillies’ Stakes at Newmarket in late June.

She rebounded with that Newbury win before another fifth place, this time in York’s Harry’s Half Million by Goffs, but she regained the winning thread at Salisbury on Friday..

Anthelia is one of three winners from five runners out of All On Red who was third in the Listed Rose Bowl Stakes at Newbury for Tobias Coles. Twice a winner as a juvenile, All On Red is a Red Clubs half-sister to Applecross who was third in the Listed Del Mar Juvenile Fillies’ Turf Stakes.

Supremacy has sired ten individual first crop winners and the Richmond Stakes winner stood the 2025 season for an advertised fee of €8,000.
